BANDA ACEH, Feb 5 (TAG) – Darma S, a 37 years old journalist of North Sumatra’s capital Medan printing newspaper found dead in a remote area of Southeast Aceh district early Sunday, police and local journalists said.
BANDA ACEH, Feb 5 (TAG) – Darma S, a 37 years old journalist of North Sumatra’s capital Medan printing newspaper found dead in a remote area of Southeast Aceh district early Sunday, police and local journalists said.
The victim’s body found in the trenches of Lawe Dua
village in Bukit Tusam subdistrict around 2:00 a.m Sunday by local residents,
Adj. Comr. Arsyad, Southeast Aceh police chief said.
The victim’s motorcycle also found parking the
street closed to his body, he added.
There was not clear yet about the caused of Darma’s
death as he was also a member of Aceh Journalists Association (PWA) in the district,
a local journalist said, adding that he doesn’t know in which newspaper Darma
worked.
“I don’t want to speculate the caused and motive of his death
as police still investigating this case and waiting the result of visum et repertum from doctors,” Arsyad
told The Aceh Globe.
The police chief says that a local resident had
suspious on a motorcycle parking in the Lawe Dua village’s quite area, more
that 10 kilometers to the south of district’s capital Kutacane.
“Then he checked and found the victim’s body in the
trenches. He called some residents to evacuate the body,” Arsyad said, adding
the residents reported to the local police station.
Darma’s body evacuated to the district’s Sahuddin
hospital in Kutacane for visum et repertum by police and residents. Darma’s
death leaving the sadness for his wife and their only son.[]
